Field Family Candles Est.1937, decided that we wish to give back! What better way to do so then to donate to a great cause; charity, research, foundations, etc. Each month we will be giving back $1 from every purchase to a charity based on the awareness of that month. Every month at the end of the month we will be posting a blog to show you how we in fact gave back and to who. Also once a month at the beginning of the month there will be a blog post stating which charity it is we will be donating to that month so that our customers can stay up to date at all times.
Welcome, we wish to give thanks to you for taking the time out of your day to read a little bit about our business and why we do what we do.
The inspiration behind giving back to charity is in honor of my grandfather David Field. He was diagnosed with an incurable cancer and has since passed on. He was a loving and motivating individual and dedicated his life to giving back by teaching for over forty years. Today his legacy lives on through his family and this program of donating. We have called it the David Field Foundation. Were each month we give back to families in need in hopes of making the world a better place. Each month we base our charity donation decision on the awareness occurring that month.
January 2022 Charity- Cervical Health Awareness
Endometriosis and PCOS are the two cervical health issues that can occur to females. This does occur to females in fact a very large percentage of females suffer from one or both of these ailments daily. They do not have cures but there are ways to manage the pain and to minimize spread. Seek medical knowledge if you have any further information on this topic. We are in no means doctors or trying to give any advice. Our goal here is to simply raise awareness that it exists and that we can do something to change this for the better! January is classified as cervical health awareness month and that is how we chose our charity topic for this month.
